In order to provide the most effective type of treatment for each session, I utilize a number of different therapeutic modalities. Here are the modalities I frequently use:
- Swedish relaxation
- Deep Tissue
- Pregnancy/postpartum massage
- Table Thai Yoga Massage
- Thai Foot Reflexology
- CranioSacral Therapy
- Massage Cupping
My rates are based upon time on the table, not upon modality or technique. This is primarily because I tend to incorporate pieces of each technique into a single session.
- 30 minute massage – $40
- 45 minute massage – $55
- 60 minute massage – $70
- 90 minute massage – $95
- 120 minute massage – $125
Methods of payment accepted are cash, check and all major credit cards. You loved your session and want to tip me? Aw! That’s sweet, but I generally don’t accept tips. (Honest. It’s true.) I’d rather you save it and use it towards your next session. Or buy an ice cream. Both options are fantastic.
Do keep in mind that while my rates are based upon session time, they are for the time scheduled. What do I mean by that? Well, if you are late for your session, I cannot necessarily extend your session time and the time missed cannot be added to subsequent sessions as missed time. (Unless, of course *I* am the reason the session started late. That makes sense, though.) So just know that if you are running late for your massage appointment that the full session price will still be due as I reserved the time for you.
Gift Certificates and Packages
Gift certificates and massage packages are available for purchase in my most common session lengths of 30, 60 and 90 minute massage sessions. Certificates can be purchased for individual sessions or in multiple massage session packages. (But you don’t need to be buying a gift for multiple massage session packages.)
Five session packages:
- 30 minute session package: $175
- 60 minute session package: $325
- 90 minute session package: $450
Soothe Massage Therapy gift certificates do not expire but are not redeemable for cash value.
Oh! One more thing.
If purchasing session packages for someone other than yourself, please make sure the recipient enjoys massage before purchasing. Not everyone loves massage. (Weird, but true.) If you are a new client and thinking about purchasing a session package for yourself, please know that I recommend you experience one session first before committing. Massage therapy is both science and art, and the art comes in the form of glorious variations from therapist to therapist. Trust me, I won’t get offended if you aren’t thrilled with my style of massage, but let’s figure that out before you commit to a session package as it can be a costly mistake and a major bummer for us both. I know loads of massage therapists in the Worcester and Central Mass area if you decide my style isn’t for you and will gladly put you in touch. (HA! “Put you in touch!” With a massage therapist! Get it? I crack me up.)
